toilet roll kings

Here is one solution to the age old question of "what can be made from toilet tissue rolls".

Materials Needed: 1 1/2 toilet tissue rolls per king/Scraps of material in colors that you want robes/clothing and crowns to be made of/any decorative materials you have lying around/a hot glue gun.

Fabric A - Heaviest Fabric for clothing. 5 1/2"w by 4 5/8"h

Fabric B - Lighter Fabric for robe. 6"x6"

Fabric C - Heavy Fabric for Crown 6"w by 2"?

Cut the toilet foll about 1/3 the way down For the King's face, cut a tissue roll 1/3 the way down. Discard other part.
Firmly squeeze the top where the glue is to hold it in place Hot glue the top of the roll and pinch it together tightly. It will make the roll elongate.
Squeeze the uncut roll so that the 'head' will slip into the 'body' and put a little hot glue to hold them together.
After wrapping fabric around tube, hot glue it into place Using your Fabric A first, place it from the bottom of the roll up. Hot glue only where it 'closes' in the front. Then, for the robe that covers, place around the top of the 'head". Make sure it looks right then glue into place.
This is what you should have now This is how it should look, basically.
Cut any shape crown you want , remembering that it is two-sided To make a crown, pick a heavier fabric. Be creative as to how you cut the crown out. It is up to you!
Add crown and any trimmings If you have special trim, use that, otherwise, you can cut strips from other fabric and hot glue it to the fabric as done to this King.
You'll Need Three of them so vary the fabrics Your Kings should each look differently. Of course, make three! Great decoration.
