Pear Reindeer & Tree

Ingredients: Red and green marachino cherries, toothpicks, pears, raisins & cheerios

Here is a fun activity for kids or a cute mealtime or party decoration. Make a reindeer or make a Christmas Tree using some simple ingredients. Depending on which you are going to make, will determine the size pear can you need to purchase.

Reindeer Face - To make a Reindeer face you will need 1 pear half, 2 green cherries, 1 red cherry and a toothpick to hold it in and several raisins. Build your Reindeer Face on a flat piece of lettuce.

Christmas Tree - If you want your pears to be a slighlty green shade, you can empty the pear juice from the can and pour the green cherry juice over them. Be careful that you not start handling the pears for they are delicate and will start to tear if you do. They will be fine their original color if you don't want to try that. To make the tree, use 5 pear halves, 6 red cherries and 3 green cherries. Cereal of some kind can go at the bottom to finish it off.
